I don’t know if you could tell or not, but Fall is approaching. (I think the Pumpkin Spice everything kind of gives it away. Which, in a way, is frustrating. It kind of takes the magic out of the change.) With Autumn comes some gorgeous weather for knitting. One of my joys is to create something cozy that I can debut in the cooler weather. There is something about it that lifts my spirits and makes everything okay for a little while.
This month I’ve been shopping for project bags, in an effort to keep the cat hair off of my yarn for a little while. I’ve come to the sad conclusion that the hair is winning and I just want to keep it off of my yarn for a little while. Please.
Anyway, I found my way over to Etsy with the help of some awesome yarn related podcasts and found my beauties.
The first bag is a Halloween style bag from ArtInstitchtute. She has a ton of Halloween and Day of the Dead themed bags. (Also, I spied one Nightmare Before Christmas one!!) This one reminded me of the decorations that we had as kids, nostalgia always helps me buy things. I should probably stop doing that. Although, anything that brings me back to the joy of my childhood is worth it in my opinion.

The next set I found was from Bags By Awesome Grannie. And yes, she is definitely awesome! Her bags are probably my favorite. I got the camper themed bag set, and I can’t get enough of them. So much fun. She has so many other adorable designs (You know you need the hedgehog one!) and they are well made. I can see them holding up for a while.

My knitting is happy right now. That seems really ridiculous to say, but these bags make me so ready for Fall to arrive.
